Kokum Butter

KOKUM BUTTER

Kokum butter is a natural fat that comes from the seeds of the Garcinia indica tree, which is native to India. It is known for its rich, creamy texture and is widely used in skincare and haircare products due to its nourishing properties.

BENEFIT

1. Moisturizing: Kokum butter is an excellent emollient, meaning it helps to keep the skin moisturized and prevents it from becoming dry or flaky. It’s known for its ability to penetrate deep into the skin.
2. Regenerating: It helps promote skin regeneration and healing, which makes it great for treating damaged or cracked skin, scars, and stretch marks.
3. Anti-aging: Kokum butter has high levels of antioxidants, particularly vitamin E, which helps combat signs of aging by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
4. Soothing: It has anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for soothing irritated or inflamed skin, such as in conditions like eczema or psoriasis.
5. Improving Elasticity: Regular use can help improve skin elasticity, preventing sagging and improving the overall firmness of the skin.
6. Non-greasy: Unlike some other butters, kokum butter is non-greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a heavy residue.
