Description
Emu oil is a purified natural oil rendered from the fat of the emu (Dromaius novaehollandiae), a large flightless bird native to Australia. It contains a high proportion of oleic acid along with linoleic, palmitic, stearic, and palmitoleic fatty acids. Cosmetic-grade emu oil is highly refined to remove impurities, odor, and color, producing a stable emollient suitable for skincare and haircare formulations.
