Description

STPP stands for Sodium Tripolyphosphate. It’s the same compound as STTP (some just reverse the last two letters). The correct and more widely accepted abbreviation is STPP. Builder enhances detergent performance by softening water (binds calcium & magnesium ions) dispersant keeps dirt and grease suspended in water to prevent re-deposition. Binds metal ions (like calcium and magnesium) in water, preventing them from interfering with the product’s performance. Water Softening Improves the performance of surfactants (like SLES) by softening hard water. Product Stabilizer Helps maintain clarity and stability of cosmetic formulas by preventing precipitation or cloudiness. pH Buffering Helps maintain the desired pH range for mildness and product stability.
