Description

Silky Wax (commonly referred to as Silky Emulsifying Wax) is a non-ionic, self-emulsifying wax used in cosmetics to blend oil and water phases. It provides a smooth, velvety texture and is known for making stable emulsions with a silky skin feel.

INCI: Cetearyl Alcohol and Ceteareth-20.

CAS NUMBER: 68439-49-6.

APPEARANCE: White to off-white pellets or flakes, waxy texture.

APPLICATION: Creams, lotions, hair conditioners, body butters, sunscreens, makeup bases.

USAGE RATE: 3–10%.
