Description
Ceteareth-25, commonly referred to in cosmetic manufacturing as A25 Emulsifier, is a non-ionic emulsifying wax produced by the ethoxylation of cetyl and stearyl alcohols. It appears as white flakes, pellets, or waxy solid material and is widely used to create stable oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions in creams, lotions, hair products, and pharmaceutical preparations.
It provides excellent emulsification, stabilization, and thickening properties while improving the texture and spread ability of formulations.
