Caprylyl Methicone is a lightweight, silicone-based fluid used in cosmetics and personal care products to give a smooth, silky feel without a greasy residue. It is Ultra-lightweight, non-greasy emollient, leaves silky, soft after-feel, acts as a volatile carrier (some evaporation after application), improves compatibility between silicones and natural oils, excellent spreading and slip, Great for fast-absorbing and elegant formulations.
