Description
Sodium Carbomer is the sodium salt form of crosslinked polyacrylic acid polymer (Carbomer). It is a synthetic high-molecular-weight polymer widely used in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and personal care products as a thickener, rheology modifier, stabilizer, and suspending agent.
It appears as a white fluffy powder and produces clear, smooth gels when dispersed in water. Sodium Carbomer offers improved ease of neutralization compared to traditional carbomers and is commonly used in transparent gels and aqueous formulations.
