Description

Hand sanitizers are products designed to reduce or eliminate bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens on the skin, particularly the hands. They are commonly formulated with alcohol (either ethanol or isopropanol), which acts as the primary active ingredient in disinfecting. Non-alcohol-based sanitizers may also contain other antiseptic agents, like benzalkonium chloride.
