Description
Polyamide-3 is a linear polymer produced synthetically via the condensation polymerization of diamino compounds with dicarboxylic acids and fatty acids sourced from vegetable oils. It acts as a premium oil-thickener that builds structure without adding the heavy opacity or cloudiness typically caused by traditional waxes.

Solubility:

- Insoluble in: Water (highly hydrophobic, less than 0.1% solubility in water)
pH Range: Broad Stability / pH Insensitive: Polyamide-3 is highly stable across a broad pH range. The oil-in-water or water-in-oil gels it creates are naturally pH-insensitive, allowing them to remain structurally sound in both acidic and alkaline environments
